Music - Native Deen - Not Afraid to Stand Alone
It has been two weeks since I last update my blog… for my entry today, i have the preview and review of Native Deen latest album - Not Afraid to Stand Alone. I’ll update my review later, but below is the preview of each song in the album, 30 seconds only…
Native Deen consists of three young Muslim men who were born and raised in America. Joshua Salaam, Naeem Muhammad, and Abdul-Malik Ahmad who grew up in Washington, DC. Their music seeks to inspire young people to keep their faith amid the pressures and temptations of modern life (wikipedia). Listening to their songs, i can’t help but notice that their music give strong messages about our daily life (although most of their songs are focusing on living as muslims in America, their songs is good enough to inspire me - a malaysian muslim living in New Zealand with the “pressure and temptation” of “modern” world, hehe). In this album, Still Strong, Life’s Worth, Tala’al Badru, Zamilooni and M-U-S-L-I-M are the tracks that I like (especially Life’s Worth).
Tracks:
SubhanAllah
Stand Alone
Lord is Watching

Life’s Worth
Sea of Forgiveness
Pray Before…
Tala’al Badru
